Vrindaban

Vrindavan holds a special place in the hearts of the Hindus because of its intimate association with the early life of Krishna. It is situated 151 km south of Delhi and 10 kms off Mathura, where, according to Hindu mythology, Krishna was born.

Vaishno Devi

The Vaishno Devi shrine is perched in the Trikuta Mountain, at a height of 5200 feet above the sea level. It is a cave in the lower Himalaya. Katra, the town located 48 kms from Jammu at the foot of the Trikuta Hills, is the base camp for theVaishno Devi shrine.

Tirupati

The temple of Sri Venkateswara, one of the oldest and holiest places of pilgrimage of the Hindus, is located on Venkatachala in the Tirupati Hill, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Kumbh

Kumbh Mela is different from the other Hindu places of pilgrimage. Unlike the other places of pilgrimage, it is held in four different places, namely Allahabad, Haridwar, Ujjain and Nasik.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath is one of the holiest pilgrimage centers visited by Hindu devotees from for all over the world. It has an enthralling beauty with the surrounding lofty, snow-capped mountains and the towering Kedarnath peak that can be seen from long distances.

Haridwar

Situated in the Indian State of Uttarakhand, Haridwar is the place where the river Ganga enters the Indo-Gangetic plain, after traveling 253 kms from its origin at Gomukh, located 10300 ft above sea level. Because of its association with the river Ganga, Haridwar is also called Gangadwara.

Amarnath

Amarnath, regarded as one of the holy places of pilgrimage by devout Hindus, and is located in the glacial valley at 13700 ft., 145 km east of Srinagar in Kashmir.

Badrinath

Situated at an altitude of 3,133 mts, Badrinath is an important place of pilgrimage for devout Hindus all over the world and is regarded as a place where the union of ‘Nar’ and ‘Narayan’ happens.

Puri

Puri is one of the most venerated places of pilgrimage in India and is Lord Vishnu’s abode by the sea. Located on the coast of Bay of Bengal, the holy city is 60 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of the state of Orissa.

Rameswaram

Rameswaram is one of the four most sacred Hindu pilgrim centers in India, the other three being Badrinath in the North, Puri in the East and Dwarka in the South. It is a beautiful holiday spot too.
